15 Awful Films The Avengers Actors Want You To Forget
13. The Perfect Score (2004) - Chris Evans
RottenTomatoes Score: 17% The Plot: Six high schoolers, led by schemer Kyle (Chris Evans), plot to steal the answers to the upcoming SAT exam, in order to ensure their futures aren't placed in jeopardy. Why It Sucks: Because you know exactly where this movie is going from the moment it starts, and for a film with such an amusing premise, it's a shame the end result is such a squeaky clean, playing-it-safe teen movie. Evans, who was in his early 20s at the start of filming, doesn't really manage to convince as a high schooler, and though he's unquestionably a good actor, little of that promise shines through in this role. Sure, there's a perverse watchability due to the fact that it also stars his Avengers co-star Scarlett Johansson (who will be dealt with later in this list), but considering he's the protagonist, Evans' character is really quite bland, and Johansson's is much more appealing.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
