Undoubtedly, this was a moment whose potential to impress was nixed by its constant featuring in the Wreck-It Ralph 2 trailers. Still, getting all the Disney Princesses in one place is a moment of huge cinematic merit, and deserves discussion here.

Wreck-It Ralph 1 was a far better film than the sequel, and was far more aware of both what it was and what it was supposed to be riffing off. As far as standout moments go though, this takes the cake from either movie.

Would it have been more impactful had it not been spoiled by all the trailers? Absolutely. Considering it was likely responsible for hauling a decent chunk of the audience into the cinemas though, Disney simply won’t care.

Taken in isolation, the scene was a fantastic example of what we might have to look forward to as companies begin to merge their IPs together. Following an Avengers model, shared universes seem to be on the grow. Considering most people grew up with a certain collection of Disney Princesses, seeing them all together in charming.
