One of the most distinctive aspects of the new Mummy reboot isn't the casting of Tom Cruise or Russell Crowe appearing in a supporting role, but rising star Sofia Boutella giving a female twist on the iconic Mummy character.

While it's never wise to judge a movie entirely on its set images (remember how silly Bane's winter jacket looked before we saw the film?), Boutella does look rather on the ridiculous side as The Mummy, in large part because of her small stature, but of course, perspective tricks can easily make her look a lot more imposing for the final film.

Even so, though, the costume itself seems pretty goofy, but then again, this is The Mummy, so maybe that's apt.
