Step Brothers

Neighbors, also known as Bad Neighbours in countries that seemingly couldn’t wait to find out the true nature of the titular next door nuisances, stars Seth Rogan, Rose Byrne and Zac Efron as, you guessed it, neighbours. (At this point you realise how weird the word neighbour looks).

Rogan and Byrne play a young-ish couple who move in to a new neighbourhood with their young daughter. Subsequently a fraternity headed by Efron, Dave Franco and Christopher Mintz-Plasse (seemingly portraying what happens to McLovin after high school) move in next door.

All out suburban warfare ensues, as does hilarity with both Efron and Rogan flexing their comedic muscles (Efron flexing his actual muscles too). Byrne’s performance is equally excellent and her involvement in the schemes and general tomfoolery is both hilarious and a move away from the restrictive sideline role of the nagging wife.

Also for those with a craving for comedy, a sequel Neighbors 2 Sorority Rising was released in 2016.
