15 Best Hans Zimmer Film Soundtracks

12. True Romance

While the soundtrack for this Tony Scott/Quentin Tarantino collaboration is better remembered for containing rock and dance music than anything else, it was Zimmer who composed its famous main theme.

Much like The Thin Red Line, you've definitely heard it but probably didn't realise where it was from, unless you happen to have a degree in music used in movies written by Tarantino. It may have been replayed and overused to death but it is nevertheless supremely catchy and definitely deserving of a place on this list.

Best Track: You're So Cool

The aforementioned main theme. It's completely different to what you'd expect to hear in a Tarantino penned flick, and that is why it is so cool (sorry I couldn't help myself).
