15 Best Horror Movies On Netflix Right Now
4. The Babysitter
Home Alone meets Halloween meets Scary Movie might be the best way of describing The Babysitter, easily one of Netflix's underrated gems in the horror selection. Written by Brian Duffield, directed by McG and starring Samara Weaving as the world's coolest, sexiest and most sinister babysitter in cinema history, The Babysitter is here to inject the horror-comedy world with some really gory kills and some side-splitting gags.
When Cody's parents leave him alone for a weekend, they hire the legendary Bee as their son's babysitter. Bee is everything a boy thinks is cool, helping him out with local bullies, nerding out with him on all his favourite films and games and generally being the awesome best friend we all want to have.
Things start to take a turn for the sinister however when Bee and her friends host a game of truth or dare, stick two daggers into the local nerd's head for their satanic ritual and attempt to kill Cody. The Babysitter currently holds an approval rating of 70% on Rotten Tomatoes and a sequel featuring all of the original cast and director McG has been confirmed to be in the works.
