15 Best Movie Fight Scenes Of 2016

Only Gerard Butler can keep the American President safe on the curiously empty streets of London, in this disappointing follow-up to Olympus Has Fallen. The action scenes here were mostly flat and noisy, with the notable exception of a flashy one-take action sequence in the final act.

In this scene, Butler leads some commandos through narrow streets in order to reach a terrorist compound, and they come under immediate heavy fight. It’s an exhilarating, breathless setpiece full of fluid camerawork, and while some of the invisible edits are a bit obvious, even they can’t take away from this being an ace battle scene.

Too bad it wasn’t featured in a better movie, but you can’t have everything.
