15 Best Movie Villains Of The Decade

9. Lotso Huggin' Bear - Toy Story 3 (2010)

Obviously, the real villain in Pixar's Toy Story franchise - and indeed most of their films - is mortality and the creeping realisation that we're all expendable, replaceable and forgettable. What a lovely game to play with your Barbies.

In Toy Story 3, we get the franchise's best villain, precisely because he's aware of the real driving force behind the franchise. He's arguably the most logical of all the series' characters when it comes to the fear of "death" (redundancy, replacement, apathy), but he's the enemy of romance and magic, so he's painted as the villain. He's also a bit of a pantomime supervillain too, overseeing a network of minions to held close his grip.

He's basically the antithesis of Woody in every way and his inability to get over his own rejection and subsequent mistreatment of everyone else offers insight into what Woody could himself become if he doesn't accept his fate. That's very clever writing.
