15 Biggest Guilty Pleasure Movies Of 2018

1. Robin Hood

Robin Hood is an unmistakably terrible film, and though it unsuccessfully tried to pull a King Arthur: Legend of the Sword by updating a revered legend into a sexy, gritty contemporary franchise, the end result was riotously bad.

This is a film jam-packed with hackneyed, wrong-headed choices, from the odd contemporary flourishes, to a miscast and wildly bored Taron Egerton, slapdash action sequences, bargain basement CGI, a schizophrenic tone and an arbitrary sequel-bait ending.

It is a spectacle of everything blockbuster filmmaking shouldn't be, and to that token tough to look away from in even - or especially - its most inexplicable moments.

"Best" Moment: The Sheriff of Nottingham's (Ben Mendelsohn) hammy declaration that he'll boil Robin Hood (Egerton) in his own piss almost takes the gold, but having Maid Marian (Eve Hewson) spend most of the movie wearing anachronistic clothes that look like they came out of the Primark around the corner from the set is...a bold choice.
