15 So-Called 'Must See' Films In 2015 (That Might Actually Be Worth Watching)

5. Mad Max: Fury Road

The Hype: The first entry into the Mad Max franchise in 30 years sees Tom Hardy taking over the title role, while series director George Miller returns for what looks to be one of the most visually stunning movies of 2015. Why It'll Probably Deliver: For starters, Miller her assured fans that the movie is basically a 105-minute chase scene, and that it doesn't slow down much to talk. Simply put, even if the dialogue and plot suck, the trailer certainly argues persuasively that the movie's going to be full of gut-bustingly gorgeous action, most of which appears to be practical in nature as opposed to slathered in CGI. Why It Might Not: It's entirely possible that the best parts of the movie have already been given away for free, and that there's little left action-wise to be shown. Of course, that would massively contradict Miller's promises, but then it wouldn't be the first time a director lied to get butts in seats now, would it?
