15 Characters That Nearly Appeared In The Suicide Squad

9. Plastique

Deathstroke Suicide Squad
DC Comics

After enduring genetic alterations, a terrorist armourer called Bette Sans Souci turned herself into a walking bomb called Plastique. Not only can she detonate at will without harming her body, she can make objects combustible with a touch (much like X-Men's Gambit).

Even though she spent most of her adult life as a terrorist, the bombastic beauty eventually reformed and married one of her former enemies, Captain Atom. After they filed for divorce, Plastique became unstable and returned to criminal activity.

When she was invited (or forced) into the Suicide Squad, she found herself being sexually harassed by Captain Boomerang, giving Plastique an instant disdain for the Aussie supervillain.

Plastique didn't get the chance to showcase her skills this time around but hopefully she will appear in a sequel.
