15 Characters That Nearly Appeared In The Suicide Squad
8. KGBeast
Being a proud son of Russia, Anatoly Knyazev vowed to become the greatest Soviet solider in his motherland's history.
The KGB agent had cybernetic enhancements, boosting his speed, strength, and sight. He also had his arm ripped off and replaced with a gun that functions as a cannon, bayonet, machine gun, and tear gas dispenser. With 200+ kills under this belt, Knyazev gained the moniker, the KGBeast.
But when the Soviet Union collapsed, the ruthless rooskie felt humiliated since he was now viewed as a freelance flunky rather than a solider. After being hired as a goon for lowlifes in Gotham, he became a recurring enemy to the Batman family.
If you are an eagle-eyed viewer, you may have noticed Knyazev has already appeared in the DCEU. In Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, he is the mercenary that Luthor hires to kidnap Superman's mother, Martha Kent. Since Knyazev seemingly died in the film, it's possible the KGBeast that could've appeared in Gunn's Suicide Squad would've been a separate character.
