6. John Blake Discovers Bruce's Identity...In The Dumbest Way Possible (The Dark Knight Rises)

Early on in The Dark Knight Rises, cop John Blake (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) explains to Bruce that he knows he's Batman, claiming that he met him once as a youngster and could tell from the look on his face that he was Batman ("Right when I saw you, I knew who you really were. I'd seen that look on your face before. It's the same one I taught myself.") Even if it's accepted that Blake is an extremely intelligent person, even as a kid, it's still an incredibly flimsy way to have Blake figure out Bruce's identity. Sure, it means Nolan doesn't waste even more screen time on Blake somehow stumbling across the fact, but it's still an incredibly silly explanation that's always a bit cringe-inducing on repeat viewings (as well as confusing as hell the first time you see it). It had to happen and there was never really any easy way to quickly get it done, but there surely had to be a less-contrived way to make it work than...this?
