15 Deeply Tasteless Films That Will Offend Everyone

10. Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen

Movie 43 Hugh Jackman
Paramount Pictures

With this one the audience is put through the wringer; childish humor, confusing direction and a godawful script will have audiences feeling like they're strapped into a Saw torture device from the off, but as if that wasn't bad enough it's also utterly distasteful.

For starters, two of the robots, Mudflap and Skids, are blatant racist stereotypes of African-American men who have gold teeth, speak jive talk, are unintelligent and cannot read. These two are still rightly hailed as some of the most offensive film characters ever, while Michael Bay once again fills the movie to the brim with objectification and sexism. Bay always does this, but ROTF is even more uncomfortable than his other movies.

Perhaps the most disturbing thing of all is that the Transformers... they're just toys. Transformers was a much-loved brand that defined many childhoods, yet Hollywood has taken these once-innocent toys and put them in the middle of borderline pornographic spectacles. One of the Transformers even has giant metal balls (John Turturro: "I am directly below the enemy scrotum!") and the way in which Bay has combined children's toys with such unpleasant, adult material is pretty awful.

This is one of the worst movies ever made.
