4. Dory Apologises To Her Parents - Finding Dory

Finding Dory is a hell of an emotional rollercoaster, starting with a bang when we see tiny baby Dory separated from her parents, despite their best efforts to keep her safe and close by them. Seeing her trying to find them until the memory of what she's looking for evaporates in front of us is pretty difficult to take.

But then, eventually, we get to see their emotional reunion and Dory's reaction to seeing them says everything about the emotional burden she's carried her entire life. Not only elated to see them, she apologises for forgetting them and getting lost, as if it was all somehow her fault and it honestly sucks the breath right out of you.

Not only was this charming little fish carrying the weight of being alone around on top of her condition, but she also had to deal with the fundamental belief that she had somehow done it to her parents.
