15 Dumbest Things In The Worst Summer Movie Season Ever

11. Krang Is Barely In It - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows

Despite his presence being hyped up significantly in trailers, the iconic TMNT supervillain Krang (Brad Garrett) appears in the movie for scarcely more than a few minutes, meeting up with Shredder (Brian Tee) early on and disappearing until the third act, where he imprisons Shredder before the Turtles defeat him in a brief fight. Krang then escapes and vows to return: that's it.

Why It's Dumb: Given that the first Turtles movie already covered Shredder, Krang really should've been the central villain here, though he likely wasn't in order to keep CGI costs down.

Considering how much more fanboy-friendly this movie was than its predecessor (with the likes of Bebop [Gary Anthony Williams], Rocksteady [Sheamus] and Baxter Stockman [Tyler Perry] appearing), it's a shame it didn't fully commit to presenting one of the Turtles' most entertaining baddies in satisfying fashion.

What a waste, and now that Out of the Shadows has underperformed at the box office, fans will probably never get to see him in a live-action movie again...or at least until the next reboot. Boo.
