15 Essential Batman Villains Not Yet Used In The Movies
12. Anarky
Why He's Awesome
Anarky is basically a woke version of Batman; a superhero for the Tumblr age, outraged by political and corporate greed and compelled to a life of crime to the benefit of the little men and the oppressed of society. He's equally skilled in combat, equally adept with technology and arguably more intelligent, having developed a device to fuse the hemispheres of his brain together.
He's an incredibly pertinent villain for modern times - a beacon for protest and civil unrest, and one that would introduce a particularly morally grey story approach. He's undoubtedly a villain, but his methods bely worthy convictions, and he forces Batman to assess what good truly means.
How Likely Is He?
He's probably too small scale, though he would be an interesting figure to explore in the wake of Justice League, particularly as there would have been a lot of civil casualties of the destruction of Metropolis in Man Of Steel. To have those crimes against the populous revisited on Batman and Bruce Wayne in his own city, as Anarky fights him on rooftops and from behind a computer screen would be a great take. Sadly, it's an unlikely one. 3/10
