15 Films That Hated London

13. Cleanskin

The Synopsis - For every major film that he appears in (and usually dies), Sean Bean appears in a handful of lesser-known releases, ranging from the awful (Outlaw) to the adequate (Black Death). Cleanskin falls somewhere in between, starring Bean as Ewan, a maverick agent in pursuit of a 'cleanskin' (a suspect not previously known to security agencies) and his terrorist cell in London after a series of attacks. Not just a cat and mouse chase, the film grows to encompass a political conspiracy connected to his superior (Charlotte Rampling) as the body count racks up, with Ewan slowly putting the dots together. The Destruction - As the central focus of the film is terrorist activity, it's not surprising that a few notable locations across the Capital are blown up. Borough Market is shown as the scene of a suicide bombing attack, as is the Mayfair Hotel.
