15 Films That Hated London

12. Executive Decision

ExecutivedecisionThe Synopsis - As a rule, Steven Seagal films are to be avoided, however, Executive Decision manages to buck the trend by getting rid of his character, Lt. Col Travis, early on, passing the reins to David Grant (Kurt Russell). After Islamic terrorists led by Nagi Hassan (David Suchet) hijack a plane travelling from Greece to the United States, Grant is brought is as a consultant for a mid-air raid by Travis' team, which goes awry and leaves him on-board with a handful of Travis' men and a bomb that is set to blow when the plane touches the ground. The Destruction - Though almost all of the film takes place aboard the aircraft, a particularly destructive scene is set in a London hotel, where one of Hassan's men walks in with a bomb strapped to his chest and detonates it to prove his leaders resolve.
