15 Fixes To Save The DC Extended Universe
4. Make The Flash A Top-Tier Superhero
It goes without saying that a lot of fans are already loving Ezra Miller's take on The Flash solely from his brief chat with Bruce Wayne in the first Justice League trailer, and word from the set is that Miller's Barry Allen is in fact a major highlight of the movie.
It's clear from this alone that the character has considerable potential to be a major source of charisma and levity, in turn helping keep the DCEU tonally balanced. So, while Batman and Superman are the clear leaders of the universe moving forward (with Wonder Woman in third place), it might be a good idea to boost The Flash's position and make him stand toe-to-toe with his more iconic teammates.
Hopefully Miller's Flash will live up to the hype, and if it does, Warner need to make sure to lean into that and play-up his presence in future movies. Specifically, his standalone movie shouldn't feel like a lower-tier spin-off (in the vein of, say, Thor: The Dark World or Ant-Man), but rather a mighty blockbuster on par with the series' flagship movies.
