15 Fixes To Save The DC Extended Universe

The most acclaimed DC superhero movies these days are by far their direct-to-video animated efforts, which have already adapted a ton of iconic comics with a solid degree of success.

Now, it's absolutely not fair to directly compare what's possible in an animation to live-action, but on the whole these films have basically been what the live-action ones should've been: the tone is consistent, they're often more daring thematically (albeit not without controversies), and capture the essence of DC's superheroes so much easier.

Again, the two beasts are very different, but it's worth DC's live-action department taking a look at what's hot in the animated field and leaning into it a little. The results might surprise them.
