10. Witching & Bitching (2013)

Bonkers! That€™s the perfect word to describe this Spanish mix of crime and horror that centres on a gang of jewellery thieves who get away with thousands of gold rings and head out to the backroads on the road to safety. However, unfortunately for them they make a stop at a small Inn which just so happens to be run by a coven of deranged witches (one of whom is played by the director€™s striking wife Carolina Bang) looking to sacrifice them in the name of their Mother God. Like director lex de la Iglesia€™s 2010 film The Last Circus, this is an entertainingly deranged mishmash of different styles; frenetic in pace, ambitious in its visuals and very, very funny for those who like their humour jet black.
