15 Greatest Ever Horror Movie Villains
5. Dracula (Dracula)
Popularised by Bela Lugosi's 1931 debut - and of course, Bram Stoker's novel of the same name - the Lord of Darkness and king of the vampires has had insurgence after insurgence of copycats and spinoffs, but none come close to the original bloodsucking bad-guy himself.
Able to transform into a bat at will, feasting on blood with his two pin-sharp fangs, and a talented hypnotist, Dracula has always been a villain with a dash of charm thrown into the mix - though certain sparkly variations may have cheapened his appeal in recent representations.
In any case, Dracula is one of the longest standing classic horror monsters in cinematic history, and one that is far from being done with when it comes to the escapades of his vampiric horde on screen.
