7. Captain America: The First Avenger - Alan Silvestri
Marvel StudiosAlan Silvestri is perhaps best known to film fans for his spectacular work on Back to the Future, where he has since gone on to write some of the best music of his career. Recently, his work on The A-Team reboot and A Christmas Carol have been some of the finest examples of modern film scoring to date. Silvestri paints a clear picture of Captain America in music alone, and it is unapologetic in its love for the character. Silvestri's musical grace was sadly missing from this year's release of The Winter Soldier, but his score for The First Avenger stands tall as one of the best in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe.
