15 Greatest Spider-Man Movie Moments

9. Spidey-View - The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)

Spider-Man swinging through the skyline of New York. When thinking of the character that is the first thing any of us think of. So, with the iconic image so firmly ingrained in our heads, Mark Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man was hard-tasked with finding a fresh way of demonstrating such a thing on screen. Well, hats (or should that be Lycra masks?) off to the man for managing just that as, dotted throughout The Amazing Spider-Man, are several moments where, instead of merely observing Spidey, we literally see the world through his eyes. An innovative technique, this 'Spidey-vision' is clearly playing up to the film's 3-D status but it's a move that pays off. As a visual cue to differentiate the film from the first series, it works a treat. Aside from being a nifty gimmick, it also taps in to a big reason why Spider-Man is so loved; he is an Everyman pushed into the life of a hero. Often when watching Spidey's adventures, we think 'what would it be like to be Spider-Man?' With the aid of this piece of camera trickery, we finally get a little taster.
