One of the biggest strengths of Raimi's trilogy in the eyes of Spidey fans is his dedication to the superhero's comic book roots. While there are many moments across the three films that are faithful reproductions of scenes from the comics including some entries on this very list (guess which ones), this moment from Spider-Man 2 is the pinnacle; the time when Peter Parker says no more. Things have become increasingly tough for Peter of late. Leading a double life as a mild-mannered college student alongside his superheroic alter ego is not as easy as it used to be. So, after developing problems with his powers and apparently losing Mary Jane to a handsome astronaut (not to mention the son of his Spider-Man hating boss, Jameson), Peter does the unthinkable. Upon an emotional imaginary chat with his Uncle Ben about responsibility, he throws his Spidey suit in the trash. While also being a significant and well-executed moment in its own right the scene is made even better by the exact replication of a single shot from the classic comic, funnily enough titled Spider-Man No More. Just as The Amazing Spider-Man draws most from the Ultimate Spider-Man series, Raimi's trilogy takes Spidey's original comic continuity and marries it with good film-making to create such great Spider-Man movie moments as this. Spider-Man no more? More like Spider-Man forever!
