While we wait until 2022 for the official release of Disney's Obi Wan Kenobi series, in the meantime this Star Wars fan film is the perfect ode to the galaxy's sassiest Sith slayer.

With over 6 million views on YouTube, this epic fan film set on Tattooine is the perfect depiction of Obi Wan's life as Luke's lightsaber wielding guardian angel. Jamie Costa, who both stars as Kenobi and produced the film, gives great insight into Obi Wan's struggles following the events of Revenge of the Sith and how he is desperately trying to seek redemption by looking over Owen, Beru and a young Luke Skywalker.

When the Empire come to Tattooine they soon discover Luke, an unregistered child hidden by Owen and Beru. As they plan to execute him, Obi Wan bursts onto the scene and uses every trick in the Jedi book to keep them all safe.

Sure the force effects are a little clunky, but this fan film features one of the greatest lightsaber scenes of all time. Furthermore, it can't be understated just how well Costa plays Kenobi. Star Wars fans are very protective and hard to please but his performance of Obi Wan is uncanny.
