15 Greatest Star Wars Fan Films Of All Time
10. Dark Legacy
You may need to turn up the brightness on your devices for this one, ladies and gentlemen because this journey into the depths of the Darkside is shrouded in darkness.
Released in 2017 and with almost a million views on YouTube, Dark Legacy takes a truly unique stance on the training methods and journey of a young Sith. Written and directed by Anthony Pietromonaco, this Star Wars fan film follows the final steps of a young Padawan (Erin Wu) and her Master (Fabien Garcia) on her journey to becoming a Sith.
The cinematography to this film is absolutely breathtaking considering most of it takes place in complete darkness with only the light from their lightsabers illuminating the surroundings. Despite the film being only 10 minutes long, Pietromonaco was able to fit in a lot of emotion, action and a wonderful insight into the life of a Sith.
Both master and apprentice are played incredibly well as the film masterfully captures the importance of both the light side and the dark and how they bring balance to the force.
