15 Harry Potter Characters Who Deserve Their Own Movie

4. The Marauders

The founders aren't the only foursome that deserve to have their full stories told. The Hogwarts years of the four boys that labelled themselves as The Marauders is something that should be explored. What we know already is nothing short of compelling, but has only hinted at the lives of Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs.

Of course we all know the story of Peter Pettigrew's betrayal of his friends which led to the death of Lily and James, but what about when the four were the best of friends?

Lupin, Sirius, and James Potter were all killed long before their time, with the latter only appearing in the series as either a vision or in a flashback, so a movie based around their lives would be more than welcome. Surely the trouble the original Marauders caused with their magical map would make Fred and George look like model students.

Then there is the fact that they are all animagi. To help Lupin with his werewolf affliction, the other three all went through the ridiculously rigorous trials to earn the ability to transform into an animal each. This journey alone would be worthy of a movie, as it is so bizarre and next to impossible to actually achieve.
