15 Hilariously Awful SyFy Original Movies

It's eventually going to get to the point where every conceivable shark hybrid has been made into a movie.

In Sharktopus you've got your shark/octopus hybrid, this time genetically engineered by the government to use in combat. Did the guys from Jurassic World see this movie? But while demonstrating the technology, the Sharktopus gets out of control and starts killing everyone, and that's the whole movie.

The thing crawls along on its tentacles and is actually out of the water in a lot of scenes. Wouldn't the shark part of it need to be in the water to survive? It's really more an octopus than a shark, and that's what most of the deaths are: people being pierced or dragged into the water by the tentacles, although there's one incredible moment where someone is skydiving over the water and is immediately chomped up. 

Obviously the special effects are bad, but does that even need to be specified at this point? This is a fun one, although the deaths are kind of repetitive and like with Sharknado, whenever the movie tries to be intentionally funny, the jokes mostly bomb. 

Sometimes these films are best when you're laughing at them, not with them.
