15 Images That Will Restore Your Faith In Upcoming Movies

12. Rupert Friend As Hitman - Agent 47

Why We're Worried: For starters, video game adaptations don't have a stellar reputation, and the first Hitman movie starring Timothy Olyphant turned out to pretty much be a total bust. Then there's the fact that a first-time director, Aleksander Bach, is directing, which is always a major risk. Why This Image Rocks: If there's anything this movie is going to get right, it's the casting. Homeland star Rupert Friend snagged the part after Paul Walker's tragic death, and though that's a regrettable circumstance for any actor to win a role, there's no doubt Friend is considerably better-cast for the part than Walker ever was: for starters, could you ever imagine the late Fast and Furious star shaving his head so drastically? Friend has the piercing eyes and stern facial expressions of Agent 47 down pat, and given his clear acting talent, we just might get one of the most spot-on video game movie performances to date. Hopefully the script, from the writers of Machete Kills and Predators (eek!) will deliver.
