14. Skyfall

Daniel Craig's most recent outing as James Bond is one of the best in the fifty year history of the franchise. With director Sam Mendes on board, Skyfall showed a more wounded, vulnerable Bond than any previous film and did so in a near virtuoso technical performance from the filmmakers. Celebrated cinematographer Roger Deakins brought a visual beauty to Skyfall that is rarely seen in a movie of this size, Javier Bardem turned in one of the more impressive Bond villain performances, and Mendes tied it all up in one neat package. The film does have some faults and the story stumbles in places, most noticeably in the middle of the film but overall, Skyfall took us to a place where few Bond films had gone before and showed us a character more human than we had ever seen him. A technical triumph, Skyfall also brought in a ridiculous amount of money worldwide, ending up as one of the top ten highest grossing films of all time and even adjusted for inflation, it is the third highest grossing film in the Bond franchise.
13. Toy Story 3

Although it wasn't quite the masterpiece most people made it out to be, there's no question that Toy Story 3 pulled off the impressive feat of being a threequel that managed to end a beloved series on a high note without feeling forced or unnecessary. Toy Story 3 doesn't quite have the brilliant wit of the first entry or the manic energy of the second, but it made up for it by being possibly the most emotional of all of Pixar's movies, showing how the group of toys that everyone came to love in the first two installments endure being forgotten, lost, and abused before they are able to start a new life with a new owner. Although it set a bad precedent for Pixar revisiting past installments, its massive box office intake resulting in both Cars 2 and Monsters University, Toy Story 3 remains an exceptionally well crafted animated feature that might not quite reach the heights of movies like Finding Nemo or Wall-e, but it stands head and shoulders over any other family movie of the last five years.
