5. T'Challa's Punny Shoes - Black Panther

Black Panther might have been a stunning success and a great addition to the MCU that opens up a whole new world for Marvel fans - and caters to a very under-represented element of comic book movie fans - and it's also probably the only Marvel movie to have two shoe-based references in it.

At one point, Shuri shouts "what are those?!" to her brother cheekily, in reference to the (admittedly outdated) Vine meme that led to everyone shouting the same thing at each other's shoes. It was a strange time.

And on top of that, far more cleverly, it turns out that the new shoes that Shuri develops for her brother - his new "sneakers" - carry the Wakandan words for "heir T'Chaka" on them, in reference to Nike's iconic Air Jordans...
