5. Al Pacino Was Rumoured To Be Playing A Villain
It all started back in February 2008 when a worker on the set of Quantum Of Solace told their friend that Al Pacino had filmed a small scene for the film. This was the first mention of Pacino in regards to the film so this friend in question, who happened to be a writer, immediately reported this. A rumour would quickly spread through the internet stating that the famed actor was joining the film in a cameo role of considerable significance.
The whole situation was curious because the official cast had been released long ago and Pacinos name was nowhere to be found on it. Many theorized that if it were true, they were taking great measures to prevent the leaking of his inclusion.
Considering the movie was known to focus on a new villainous organization filling in for the classic SPECTRE, some suspected that he might appear as the groups villainous leader. Of course, none of this come to pass and were left to wonder how involved Pacino ever was, or if the worker just saw an old Italian man on set one day.
