Every year, there's always one actor, either due to senility or intoxication, who provides some quality comedy at the Oscars. This year, it was unquestionably Terrence Howard, who appeared to be completely wasted on something as he spoke about a few of the Best Picture nominees. He frequently appeared to lose his place on the teleprompter, took long pauses, was sweating, and even ended up bumping into and fumbling with the microphone. The result? A golden Oscar moment. It took mere seconds for social media to begin cracking jokes about how Howard probably went straight to the buffet cart after his speech, and viewers were trying to figure out quite what the actor had introduced into his system. Still, it broke up the monotony and was arguably the show's funniest moment.
