5. John Legend & Common Bring Down The House With "Glory"
Unquestionably the most moving musical number of the Oscars this year was John Legend and Common's performance of their song "Glory" from Selma, which later went on to win the Best Original Song Oscar. As the two ripped through a powerful rendition of their hit tune, a bridge set appeared on stage, with a group of backing singers marching through the set. Emotions were evidently running high, as the likes of the movie's star himself, David Oyelowo, and Chris Pine were moved to tears. With such a potent emotional impact, it shouldn't be surprising at all that the song won the Oscar just moments later.
