Rotten Tomatoes Score: 5% (2.6/10) Why Critics Hated It: Reviewers were pretty lukewarm on the original movie (33%), but went all out to destroy the sequel, which pretty much just rehashed the same formula as the original film...but in Las Vegas. There's more gags about how lame being a mall cop is, how fat Kevin James is and how often Kevin James falls over and...not really anything else. The plot will exit your brain only marginally faster than it took the screenwriters to scribble it down on a napkin, Blart is surprisingly unlikable this time around, and there's not a single meaningful or entertaining moment in the entire film. And the worst just might be yet to come, because a third film is already being discussed due to this sequel's box office success. On the plus side, it'd be impressive if it actually scored less than 5%.
