Rotten Tomatoes Score: 8% (3.6/10) Why Critics Hated It: Here's a film that's proof critics won't just give Bill Murray the benefit of the doubt when he's front and center, and that the Ghostbusters funnyman might finally have something to add to Zombieland's list of regrets alongside Garfield. Yes, not even Murray's charm can save this absolute mess of tones and ideas, wasting an absurdly talented cast (also including Zooey Deschanel, Kate Hudson, Bruce Willis and Danny McBride) and again affirming how hit-and-miss director Barry Levinson (Rain Man) can be these days. It looks and sounds just fine, but it's charmless and arguably both racist and sexist to boot, making it an unexpectedly sour, unpleasant excursion.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
