15 Most Epic Movie Moments Of 2018
14. Live Aid - Bohemian Rhapsody
Bohemian Rhapsody may not be a particularly great movie, but it's hard to find too much fault with the film's spectacular, climactic recreation of Queen's iconic 1985 performance at Live Aid in Wembley Stadium.
Rami Malek and his co-stars effortlessly capture the soul of the event, breathing life into a sequence that has to contend with some iffy digital crowd elements and not totally convincing lip sync.
Their spirited renditions of "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Radio Ga Ga", "Hammer to Fall" and "We Are the Champions" help end the movie on an ecastatic high while capturing the event with a shocking level of performative authenticity.
And better yet, the film's impending home video release will include the full, uncut recreation of the Live Aid performance, which was trimmed down for the theatrical cut.
