Deadpool 2 might just boast the most epic mid-credits scene of all time. After Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) and Yukio (Shioli Kutsuna) fix Cable's (Josh Brolin) time travel trinket, Wade (Ryan Reynolds) uses it to, uh, "fix" some things.

As Cher's "If I Could Turn Back Time" blares out, Deadpool saves Vanessa's (Morena Baccarin) life by killing her assailant, then rescues Peter (Rob Delaney) by telling him to go home, murders the awful "Barakapool" version of Deadpool from X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and finally, kills Ryan Reynolds himself before he can film Green Lantern.

The scene is a perfect distillation of everything charming about the Deadpool movies, giving Reynolds the ultimate vindication - and the ultimate mockery - for his previous crimes against the comic book genre.

Plus Vanessa got de-fridged, so that was nice.
