15 Most Exciting Movies Coming In March 2020

2. The Burnt Orange Heresy

The Burnt Orange Heresy is an adaptation of Charles Willeford's classic novel about the intricacies of the art world. Premiering at the end of the Venice Film Festival, the film discusses whether art, and indeed art criticism, matters or if it's all a load of crap.

After opening with a quick look at this premise, the film then explores it in detail through the dialogue. Nothing anyone says in this film can be taken at face value as every line uttered can be interpreted as some form of deception. This creates the film equivalent of art critique, as you try to interpret what each character truly means with what they present to you.

The story itself follows Claes Bang and Elizabeth Debicki as they're invited to visit an eccentric art collector played by Mick Jagger in the first role he's not seemed out of place in. Hired to steal a rare painting from Donald Sutherland's famous reclusive artist, who nobody has spoken to in decades, the job soon spirals out of control.

Not for everybody (or most people) but if you're up to the challenge, The Burnt Orange Heresy will be in cinemas on March 6th.

After hearing that you are what you eat, Mik took a good hard look at his diet and realised he might just be a szechuan spare rib alongside prawn fried rice.
