15 Most Exciting Movies Coming In March 2020

9. A Quiet Place: Part II

2018's A Quiet Place is a divisive film, with the lines seemingly drawn around what environment you watched in. Those who watched alone or with a small and quiet group seemed to like it a lot more than those who went to the cinema or had a few drinks in and chatted through it. This makes A Quiet Place: Part II one of those odd films that may be better enjoyed at home than in its cinema release on March 20th.

While the focus of several trailers released so far is a flashback to the day the creatures came, itself a story already told wonderfully in the background details during the first film, John Krasinski's sequel actually begins the moment its predecessor left off.

Their house is destroyed and a newborn baby doing what babies do in a world where a single sound can spell death, we follow the Abbot family as they venture into the outside world following the traumatic events of the first film. Forced into the unknown darkness, they soon realize that the invaders from another world are not the only threats that lurk beyond the end of the sound-muffling sand path they'd set for themselves.

With the flashback sequences already making this a much larger affair than the more intimate original, this film will widen the world considerably and introduce new human allies and enemies along the way.

After hearing that you are what you eat, Mik took a good hard look at his diet and realised he might just be a szechuan spare rib alongside prawn fried rice.
