7. Fantastic Four

From the Disney/Fox deal, it was already clear that a new Fantastic Four movie was coming to the MCU, but we were told for a long time not to expect anything particularly imminently. In fact, it felt like we were being told not to expect too much at all, but then Kevin Feige pulled off a throwaway shock right at the end of the panel in Hall H by mentioning The Fantastic Four (as well as vaguely mentioning "mutants") as one of the group of movies in production that he had no time to actively discuss.

There's no release date, no story and no casting news yet, but the fact that he's mentioned the film at all suggests it's going to be coming before the end of Phase 5 (presumed to be the end of 2023).

This is very much a huge opportunity for Marvel to undo the sins of the past committed in the First Family's name on screen and it's good to hear Feige saying the film will put them back on "a level they deserve."
