3. Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn (Suicide Squad)
Its scarily true that men dig crazy chicks, right up until they attack them with a cod carcass while reciting the Hokey Pokey backwards. Harley Quinn, though, seems to be the exception to the rule. We may be seeing the feature film debut of the two most recognizable women in the DCU this year but anticipation is much higher for Margot Robbies spousal abuse advertisement. Harley looks to be the true star of Suicide Squad and for good reason. She has been a fan favourite from the beginning, a figure as tragic as she is entertaining. Women want to be her, men want to be with her and Margot Robbie wants to have my children, she just doesnt know it yet. You can feel the excitement and appreciation Robbie has for the role through the trailers and it appears as if she is having an untold amount of fun. She knows that this is a character who people have been craving to see adapted in a live-action setting and shows a desire to do her justice. We all know a shell-tightening level of gorgeous but she was chosen to be Harley because she is a great actress who tore it down in Wolf of Wall Street and has continued to get better with every screen accomplishment. Im not necessarily convinced that the design was the best choice (although Im not complaining because I happen to have a pulse). The character has been exponentially tarted up over the last decade or so and this is the look that they are going for. When a Halloween costume based on a character doesnt have to be modified to make it skankier, than you may be leaning too far in one direction.
