15 Most Foul-Mouthed Movies Ever
1. Swearnet: The Movie
Number of F-bombs: 935 (8.35 fpm)
Despite Martin Scorsese’s best efforts, the honour of being the most foul-mouthed mainstream fictional film goes to – drumroll please – 2014 Canadian meta-comedy Swearnet: The Movie with a thus far unparalleled 935 F-bombs. And we thought Canadians were far too polite to swear.
Trailer Park Boys stars Mike Smith, John Paul Tremblay and Robb Wells feature as fictionalised versions of themselves who find themselves lacking employment following the cancellation of their show. P*ssed off at censors who disagree with their profanity prone style of comedy, they decide to set up their own uncensored internet TV channel – the titular Swearnet, where they can cuss to their heart’s content.
It wasn’t exactly a hit with critics, scoring a rather pitiful 20% on Rotten Tomatoes but it does at least have its record-breaking number of F-bombs going for it. Until the next contender comes along, that is.
