8. The Bigger Big Bad - Jurassic World

The central disaster arc in Jurassic World looks like a joke nobody ever wanted to hear: what happens when you cross a T-Rex with a Spinosaurus? It all smacks a little of jumping the shark, adding muscles on top of muscles and extending it to have a stronger impact on the audience: when the reality of the first film's success wasn't just the escalating threat of the dinosaurs.
