Released by Vertigo from 2003 to 2006, The Losers was a follow-up to a World War II-era series of the same title. The new series focused on a group of U.S. Special Forces operatives who suddenly find themselves targeted for death by the CIA. Generally well-received, it was nominated for a pair of Eisner Awards.

Whether you like him or not, Chris Evans is likely the King of Comic Book Adaptations, and the 2010 film adaptation is one his lesser-known comic book credits. Also among the cast are his fellow future Marvel Cinematic Universe stars Zoe Saldana and Idris Elba along with Jeffery Dean Morgan, another veteran of the genre.
