5. Davy Jones Returns - Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

After the "new direction" of On Stranger Tides, Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales was all about big returns with both Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley back as Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann. But their return and reunion is somewhat overshadowed in the post-credits scene when someone bigger and badder also returns.

As the couple lie in bed, they're visited by the ghostly apparition of Bill Nighy's Davy Jones, still in cursed form, despite the fact that the broken trident destroyed all the curses on the seas. You don't see him fully, but you get one flash of his terrifying claw and see his shape in shadow form, which is easier to see when the scene is paused.

So will he be back for the sequel?
