11. Jingle All The Way
Arnold Schwarzenegger’s ridiculous Christmas adventure, Jingle All The Way, is long overdue its status as a beloved festive classic. There’s no film more deserving of a spot nestled on the fireplace somewhere between It’s A Wonderful Life and Home Alone, apart from maybe Die Hard - but that’s a debate for another day.
Telling the classic tale of a desperate dad after the perfect Christmas gift, workaholic Howard wants to prove himself to his son, promising to deliver a Turbo-Man toy whilst painfully unaware of its fevered popularity. Critically panned at the time of release but slowly growing a cult audience as the years go on, that lovable brand of Schwarzenegger charm doesn’t get half the love it deserves in this campy bit of family fun.
Arnie flying around as a life-sized action man is more than worth your time and affection.
