15 Most Unlikely Horror Movie Villains

Part horror movie and part anti-drug PSA, Brad F. Grinter’s Blood Freak follows Vietnam veteran Herschell after he’s seduced into sampling a particularly potent strain of marijuana by a wanton lady hippie and soon finds himself addicted to the devil’s lettuce.

Jonesing for his next jazz cabbage fix, Herschell agrees to consume some experimental bioengineered turkey meat in exchange for drugs which of course turns him into a half-man, half-turkey hybrid freak whose addiction can only be quenched by drinking the blood of fellow marijuana junkies.

Essentially though, Herschell is just a stoner sporting a bad papier-mâché mask with a sh*t-tonne of feathers glued to it who’s about as menacing as that sounds. He doesn’t even use his newfound beak to kill people but a run-of-the-mill switchblade to off his victims, for god’s sake.

More to the point, he doesn’t even seem to try satiating his cannabis cravings by simply puffing on a big fat zoot and could probably have been easily disarmed by firstly taking away his crappy weapon and secondly plopping him in front of the TV with a bowl of weed and a bigger bowl of munchies. And there you have it: half-man, half-turkey threat eliminated.
